We are looking for a Senior Railway professional with significant experience in resource management and allocations systems.

The role will be focused on Mistral’s Sarma application.  Working closely with the Sarma Product Manager the role will provide subject matter expertise and insight to contribute to all phases of project delivery; from pre-sales activities through to project implementation and customer adoption.

Your main responsibilities will be


Project Planning & Delivery

Working with our product team to shape requirements and planning and aid delivery through negotiation and influence with key stakeholders

Customer Engagement

Develop relationships with key customer stakeholders to build trust in delivery and quality acting as a trusted point of knowledge

Strategic Guidance & Advice

Support the Product team in formulating the Sarma roadmap based on a strategic assessment of MDL, customer and market priorities balancing complexity of delivery and competing product demands

Commercial

Support the Commercial and product team in sizing new Sarma deployments

As a minimum, you will need to have:

  • 5+ years’ experience of Resource Management and Allocation systems across multiple passenger (plus ideally freight) operators
  • Experience of competency and fatigue management, crew skills, route and traction knowledge processes and systems
  • Experience of Resource Management and Allocation systems deployment either as a key customer or part of system delivery team
  • Proven ability to engage with customers in a language style they are comfortable with avoiding unfamiliar terms and reference
  • Demonstrable experience of good customer engagement, including the ability to communicate effectively, manage expectations, negotiate and influence and resolve concerns
  • Proven leadership style capable of promoting products, encouraging positive relationships, supporting effective teamwork, raising morale and empower and inspire individuals and Team members 
  • Team player, who can operate effectively as part of a team, working with colleagues to overcome challenges
  • Self-starter with an enthusiasm to learn and an inclination to look for solutions to challenges
